I think you have heard of this place before but you might want to visit Paco Park, right inTaft Avenue, Manila. It’s an ancient cemetery at Padre Faura St, .a short walk from PGH. It’s not a big thing, but, really, it’s a a joy to take pictures at: the huge acacia trees, the ruins, the fountain, the bullet-shaped chapel…I t is where Jose Rizal was originally buried, on a tomb marked RPJ (reverse of JPR, Jose P. Rizal.). It will only cost you fifteen or twenty pesos of entrance fee. They’re usually closed on Mondays for maintenance. Check out the sched also for free plays, painting workshops, piano and violin recitals, etc, which you can watch free of charge. You might want to avoid going there on weekends because Paco Park, one of Manila’s most-sought place for garden weddings, can get quite crowded as some places on the park are cordoned off for the weddings. and, oh, the caretakers are usually hearing impaired so there…

i am also a traveler and i am saddened by the fact that i really have no pictures to show off. i won’t make any lame excuses about not having a camera (i should know better. hehe!). i have gone to tons of places and never, never in my entire travel experiences have i tried to equate baguio anywhere else. maybe it’s the cold, foggy, somber ambience, or the exhausting climb to seemingly unending stairways or uphill walkways, the feeling of being on top of the world when you’re drinking coffee in one of the coffee shops in sm’s 4th floor, but then again being humbled by the existence of beautiful churches, log houses, and pine trees. makes coffee smells so right, makes mornings and sunshine seems so bright, and makes nightlife seems so alive. that’s what baguio offers. again, thank you for putting Baguio on your list! makes me proud. 
Fine places! But if you were in manila I vastly suggest to visit the intramuros along with riding on a kalesa

been to culasi, antique but only for a quick stopover. the majestic mount madja-as really captured my attention. too bad i wasnt able to explore the place though im hoping i could go back someday soon.
