The Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a meditative prayer that forms a compendium of the Gospel. It can be prayed alone or in common. In it we both honour the Blessed Virgin Mary and walk humbly with her through the Joy of Jesus Christ’s Incarnation and early life, the Light of His Public Ministry, the Sorrow of His Passion and Death, and the Glory of His Resurrection and the graces that flow from it. – (from Lumen Verum Apologetics)

The mysteries of the Holy Rosary are presented below. All are pictures of the paintings that can be found in the Our Lady of Manaoag Rosary Center within the compound of St. Benedict’s Monastery (whose main building is shown above) in Carmen, Cebu. If you are a Catholic and you are in Cebu, I am inviting you to visit this monastery and be blessed.
It is for the love of the Blessed Virgin Mary and in remembrance of Mamang, my grandmother, that I offer this special page.

“If you say the Rosary faithfully until death, I do assure you that, in spite of the gravity of your sins ‘you shall receive a never-fading crown of glory.’ Even if you are on the brink of damnation, even if you have one foot in hell, even if you have sold your soul to the devil as sorcerers do who practise black magic, and even if you are a heretic as obstinate as a devil, sooner or later you will be converted and will amend your life and will save your soul, if– and mark well what I say– if you say the Holy Rosary devoutly every day until death for the purpose of knowing the truth and obtaining contrition and pardon for your sins.” – St. Louis de Montfort, “The Secret of the Rosary”

salamat sa page na’to kaibigang coolwater..
God bless you always…
this reminds me of my childhood….
we used to pray the rosary before sleep and it has been a habit since then… in contrary though, its been a while that i’ve not even touched my rosaries.
thanks for reminding me to do so…..
god be with you kuya!
this is one great page kuya mark!
Ang galing naman nito, Mark! Congrats, ha. Tulad nga ng sinabi ko sa ‘yo dati, I admire you for being young yet dedicated to your Faith.
Casting my support for this page, in honor of the Blessed Mother.
this page is not so vague nor so broad. just so simple yet behind this page is more than its simplicity and true meaning.
kudos to you, coolwater.
of all the pages i have visited from all blog including mine, this one probably has touched me the most.
i always bring a rosary but not prayed with it for quite a long time now.
thanks for sharing this.

Salamat sa pagdaan Blu… it is good to know that this page has touched you…
how nice…. when i was young, i always went with my mom and lola to block rosaries in our subdivision… hehehhe…
We used to do that too, usually during the Holy Week and May…
