Who’s Traveling?

I am a Negrense currently working in Cebu, Philippines. I started working here in 2002. I have visited many towns, trekked mountains, rivers, streams and I have climbed waterfalls by sheer guts together with my fellow photographers/trekkers. And I look forward to more nooks and crannies to explore!

Taking pictures comes with the travel itch. I am an old school photography enthusiast. I own a Canon EOS 300 film SLR camera which I bought second-hand. I have my films processed and scanned to a CD. In our group, I am the only one using film. For quite some time now, my friends have been bugging and bullying me to crossover to the DSLR world. But, it is not yet time to budge. I admit I cannot compete with them in terms of bulk of output. What I lack sometimes I compensate with lashing critique, not on my work but on theirs (I loose grace when it comes to my passion for photography). Hahaha!  :)

    Hey! Another low-tech blogger. I think old-fashioned camera work makes you pay more attention and be a better photographer. I’m hooked on crayons, and hope never to use Photoshop.

    I like the quote about travel. So many people see it as license to view the “exotic” from their personal safety space. I like the idea that it is transformative, rather than a chance to consume.

    youre using film? wow! mas lalo akong hanga kasi mas mahirap kaya yun, you have to wait till the picture is developed before you can really say you’ve got a good shot. saludo ako sayo, CWW!

    huo. kung may tyempo ka, masyar ka to sa mga mu na nga dates para magkilalahay man ta nga duwa. :) ang isa na ka artist kay taga bacolod man na. tapos, paimnun mo ko haha

    Ah taga bacolod man na gali… Cge, ah… Try ta na pamasyaran… Ok ah, paimnun ta ka Coke… Haha! Wala ko gainum alcoholic beverages. Allergic ko… :D

    hi coolwater!!! yah ryt ur such a cool guy at nice shots… grabeh nag aral ako ng photography pero analog pa noon…nakapag work na rin sa isang photography studio kya lang ndi naman ako pinapahawakan ng boss ko ng digi cam nya at gusto maging acct. executive nya… hmmm cguro bad shots ang mga kuha ko but i love doing photography too… Sobrang ganda ng mga shots mo pwamiz..well, add kita sa bagong lipat ko rito sa wordpress… i met sandi kc at niricomend ka nya na bisitahin ko bahay mo.Pwede ba add kita?

      Salamat!!! nakakatuwa pala talga dito sa wordpress ang babait ng mga tao…
      may mga pix ako sa aking bahay na nilay-out ko narin through ULEAD PHOTO EXPRESS kc ine explore ko pa ang PHTOSHOP dami dapat buksan… nag aral ako sa RAMON MAGSAYSAY sa españa manila free un try mo dami mga magagaling na photographer ang nag aaral dun kahit marunong na sila kc gusto nila ng basic theory…ang galing mo naman self study ka lang.., ibig sabihin may taglay na talento ang mga mata…ang galing ni bro noh? alam nya kung sino ung bibigyan nya ng talento… mapalad ka kapatid…. dun nga pala sa españa manila katabi nun ang studio ng tita ko ung E-LITE PHOTOGRAPHY kya nag aral na rin ako nun while working at ACA VIDEO last 2001 pa…
