ok ba yung image ng book ang gawin kong link sa blog ko for the entry to identify it?

i’m not into photography like others with their stuff but seems interesting kase and right now i’m starting to like it kase nature lover ako & environmentlist in my own way hehe

TSI, your blog entry should have a pingback to the anniversary page or indicate via comment in that page that your entry is already available for viewing. Once posted, make it a sticky post (so that it remains on top of your page even when you add another post) until the winners are announced…. Don’t forget to answer the quiz too… Glad to know na you are interested in this craft… Goodluck! :D

  12. June 24, 2009 at 11:47 pm

Wow, you have opened my eyes. My favorite photos of your trip are the moss-covered churches. They tell such a story. I like the interior photos too, but the architectural ones leave more to the imagination.

The photos of the streets (previous post) remind me so much of Mexico, both the architecture and the people. I would like to taste that treat the the boy was selling.

Thank you so much Caroline. And very good observation on the likeness with Mexico. We somehow share similar histories: Spain’s colonies. That delicacy is said to really taste good when served hot… :D

Sa kabilang anniversary bakod, me comment na ako. Syempre, dito din. Congratulations Mark. Nooks and Crannies has been part of my spiritual journey as every visit is a little attempt to discern where the Voice is speaking. I take the spiritual meaning of information that seriously hehe. Malay natin, sa heaven, blogging is a big deal, so at least i learn how to decode na while on earth hahaha…

Salamat kapatid… I also learned much from your desert tent… OO nga naman, di natin alam kung anong patakaran dun sa langit… Buti na ang prepared… :D

THE Philippine Center for Photojournalism (PCP), an organization established in 1997 by noted Filipino photojournalists, is inviting participants to its 5th Professional Photojournalism Seminar-Workshop to be held on August 27 to 31, 2009 at the FSC Forest Complex, Subic Bay Freeport Zone in Olongapo.

Participants, with digital SLR and point-and-shoot cameras, will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis. The five-day, live-in workshop is designed for freelancers, news, government and corporate photographers and information officers.

There will be lectures on basic and documentary photography, photo editing, digital file management, Photoshop, photo story and photo essay development, wire agency photography, design and layout and basic writing for photographers. There will also be guided practical assignments within the lush and deeply forested environment of the Subic forest complex and nearby communities.

After the workshop, participants will be equipped with a better understanding of the roots and current trends of photojournalism and will have a better appreciation of the artistic, aesthetic and ethical practices of the profession.

The workshop will be facilitated by some of the country’s top photojournalists and educators including Joan Bondoc, PCP chair and senior photographer of the Philippine Daily Inquirer (PDI); veteran photographers Alex Baluyut, Jimmy Domingo and PDI chief photographer Ernie Sarmiento who are instructors in the Ateneo de Manila University’s photojournalism program; and Luis Liwanag, chief photographer of the Manila bureau of Xinhua News Agency.

I have a friend of mine na talagng nahuhumaling sa pagkuha ng mga pictures at nakikita ko kung gaano siya kasaya everytime na pinagmamasdan niya ang mga yun….

anyway… maraming maiinspire sa contest mo… Gudluck sa lahat! ;)
