From a very personal lens, very Marian. Mama Mary is trying to get my simple attention since 2 days ago. I am being reconverted to a simple devotion of my time for Her especially this Lent, praying the Rosary daily is a top activity. 3 years ago, I was captivated by a newsstand in a Walgreens pharmacy in Houston, with Mama Mary as the cover page of Time Magazine. The subtitle is how the Protestants are rediscovering the due attention that should be given to the Mother of our Lord. Perhaps, after 10 years I bought a Time magazine because of the attraction. I still keep the cover in my collected readings. So your blue candles this morning is reminding of my Lenten resolve.

Wow, salamat DF… I have always loved our Mother. My beloved grandmother has influenced me… Naalala ko tuloy ang lola ko… Almost everyday, she would pray the rosary… And when she was approaching the twilight of her years, I have always asked our Mother to be with my lola in the moment of her death… I have no doubt – I believe She was there. My grandmother has never stopped loving Her – she died holding a rosary in her hand….

By the way, the Time magazine you were referring to, I also bought a copy… :)

Ganda naman ng kuha mo rito po. Ito ba yung sinasabi mo na film DSLR? Buti ang ganda pa rin ng kuha. Kakabilib.

Hi Milay… SLR stands for ’single lens reflex’… To make the technical explanation short, ito yung camera na kung saan ang photographer at ang lens are looking into the same image. Ang viewfinder ng SLR camera is connected to the lens… If you have noticed, yung ibang common camera ang viewfinder nila has a different window. When we say DSLR (D = digital), ang method ng camera of capturing the image is through digital media (a photosensitive sensor). Kung plain SLR lang, ang image ay kinacapture using film (which has silver halides, salts which are sensitive to light)… In my case I am using a film SLR… I have a digital output kasi I have the developed film scanned and saved in a disk… :)

    Hi Mark,
Wonderful picture. I went on the internet to research this place. It must be a special place for the faithful to visit. The reasons for the different color candles was interesting.

Salamat kapatid for your honest comment… :)
