Maligayang Pasko!

For the past several days, I have received many emails from readers asking about my latest adventures. I am grateful for the interest in my blog and I am happy that there are really people who go out of their way to read about my short trips and enjoy my shots. Thank you so much for taking time to visit!

When I transferred from Blogspot to WordPress several months ago, I decided to focus on a theme: a blog about short travels to near distances. Thus, from the title “A Serving of Grace”, I changed it to “Nooks and Crannies”. I decided to unpublish blog entries that would not be related to the new theme. From so many reflections and rantings, the entries are now down to less than thirty adventures – and still counting. Inasmuch as I want to update this site weekly, time and resources do not allow me to do so. Sometimes, it is also a struggle to update every two weeks.

Although the future may look stark and clouded as of this time, the Christmas season always brings hope. There is no time more appropriate to cling to hope for Emmanuel – God [is] with us.

To more adventures for the coming year – be it in actual travels, or in financial and work-related matters.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

This is a sticky post, for now until the Christmas season ends here in the Philippines. Regular posts start below…

the Christmas season always brings hope. –> i agree though i can barely feel the christamas spirit as of this writing. i know mapi-feel ko yun sa noche buena pag kasama ko family ko. merry christmas bai!

When the mornings turned cold and getting up is just so hard to do, then I think of Christmas… :) But I have no Christmas decorations in my room for several years now… :) And my Christmas feels complete if I am with my family… Enjoy your vacation!

HI Mark, we have the same dilemna. I have been sick (bad allergies accompanied with asthma) since thanksgiving, my asthma were on and off and with the chilly weather we have right now, I am just afraid to hike and get my lungs exhausted, so I too right now struggle with updating my blog (in san diego), but am okay with california since i have a lot of trips i still have not posted, but in san diego i ran out and the only way for me to update is to really go out, hike and blog again. But am taking also your initiative, I may make a post on Christmas too (very much outside from hiking and backroads travel).

    I love your Christmas picture.

Have a Merry Christmas Mark, and yes, to more travels. Thanks for sharing to us the beauty in the Philippines. I always show your post to my hubby so he has a picture of what else he has not seen in the Philippines.

Thanks Miss Beth… It is always good to have some short hiatus… I hope that good health will prevail on you…And thanks for sharing my posts… Merry Christmas!!!

    maligayang pasko! :)

“From so many reflections and rantings, the entries are now down to less than thirty adventures – and still counting ” – dumaan ka rin pala sa rantings stage. napansin ko na common ito sa maraming bloggers. :)

Oo dumaan din ako dun sa mga rantings… Pero ang rantings ko were more of political topics…. :) Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!!!
